09:30 – 10:00: Arrive in My Tho. Board a wooden motorboat (about 20 minutes) to Thoi Son Island (Unicorn Island). Cruise past natural creeks, fishing ports, and unique stilt houses.
Visit a bee farm and enjoy delicious honey tea. Continue walking to explore the peaceful villages.
Stop at a seasonal fruit garden to Enjoy free tropical fruits and listen to traditional Southern folk music.
Afterward, hop on a small rowing sampan for about 15 minutes. Experience navigating through narrow canals and enjoy the peaceful nature of the Mekong Delta. Noon:
Return to the main motorboat and cruise through canals flanked by seasonal fruit orchards.
Visit a coconut candy village to discover how locals utilize coconut trees to create various useful products and handicrafts.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: Return to My Tho by motorboat, then meet the vehicle to depart for Can Tho.
Arrive in Can Tho, check into your hotel, and have dinner. Free time to explore Can Tho night market and experience the bustling local nightlife. Overnight in Can Tho.
Take a relaxing boat cruise to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong River (Bassac River). Visit Cai Rang Floating Market, one of the liveliest and most bustling floating markets in the region.
Stop to visit and learn about the traditional rice noodle-making process of the locals.
The boat continues to a local market. Here, you have the chance to meet friendly locals, walk around the village, and learn more about Mekong Delta culture.
Visit Truc Lam Phuong Nam Zen Monastery, featuring prominent Ly-Tran dynasty architecture—a perfect place to find peace and tranquility away from the city's hustle.
10:30: Depart for Ho Chi Minh City. Stop for lunch at Mekong Rest Stop on the way back.
Around 16:00: Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City. End of the tour.

2일 동안 미토, 벤째, 껀터를 둘러보며 메콩델타의 다양한 모습을 경험할 수 있었습니다. 특히 작은 배를 타고 야자나무가 우거진 운하를 지나가는 시간이 무척 좋았습니다. 현지 과일과 꿀차를 맛보고 코코넛 사탕을 만드는 과정도 볼 수 있어 흥미로웠습니다. 다음 날 아침 까이랑 수상시장은 활기찬 분위기와 현지인들의 생활을 가까이에서 볼 수 있는 좋은 기회였습니다. 가이드도 친절하게 설명해 주어 편안하게 여행할 수 있었습니다. 베트남 남부를 조금 더 깊이 알고 싶은 분들에게 추천합니다.
A Relaxing Way to Discover Southern Vietnam
This tour was a nice way to explore the Mekong Delta beyond Ho Chi Minh City. I appreciated the variety of activities, from visiting local villages in Ben Tre to cruising along the waterways around Can Tho. The traditional rice noodle-making visit was particularly interesting, and Truc Lam Phuong Nam Zen Monastery was a peaceful stop. The schedule was quite full, but there was enough variety to keep the trip enjoyable. Our guide provided useful information about the places we visited. I would recommend it to travelers who want to experience local culture in two days.
Loved the Floating Market and Local Food
The Cai Rang Floating Market was my favorite part of this tour. It was interesting to see boats trading goods early in the morning and experience the lively atmosphere on the river. The visit to a traditional rice noodle workshop was also a nice way to learn about local food culture. On the first day, I enjoyed the fruit garden, traditional music, and coconut candy village. The overnight stay in Can Tho gave us time to explore the night market at our own pace. A well-organized trip with plenty of authentic experiences.
A Great Two-Day Mekong Delta Experience
I really enjoyed this two-day trip through My Tho, Ben Tre, and Can Tho. The boat ride and small sampan experience were highlights, especially the peaceful canals surrounded by coconut trees. I also liked trying honey tea and fresh tropical fruits along the way. Visiting Cai Rang Floating Market the next morning gave me a better understanding of local life on the river. Our guide was friendly, and the itinerary offered a good balance of sightseeing and cultural activities. Overall, it was a pleasant and worthwhile experience.
