Start the tour at the War Remnants Museum, which houses numerous documents and artifacts about the Vietnam War.
Visit the Independence Palace, the former workplace and residence of the President of South Vietnam until April 1975.
Continue to the Saigon Central Post Office and Ho Chi Minh City Hall.
End the program and return to District 1. (Lunch is at your own expense).

Interesting History and Beautiful Architecture
I enjoyed exploring some of the most important landmarks in Ho Chi Minh City in just four hours. The Independence Palace was a highlight because of its history and distinctive architecture. The War Remnants Museum was also informative and gave me a better understanding of the country's past. I liked the contrast between the historic sites and the elegant Central Post Office and City Hall. The itinerary was straightforward, and the guide made the visits more meaningful with helpful explanations. It was a worthwhile morning tour with a good mix of history and sightseeing.
A Great Introduction to Ho Chi Minh City
This half-day tour was a great way to learn about Ho Chi Minh City's history. The War Remnants Museum was particularly interesting and provided useful insight into the Vietnam War. I also enjoyed visiting the Independence Palace and learning about its historical significance. The Central Post Office was beautiful, with impressive architecture and plenty of photo opportunities. Our guide explained the main attractions clearly, and the morning schedule was convenient. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city for the first time.
